Expert Qualifications

This expert has over two decades of experience in pediatric emergency medicine and child abuse. She earned her BA from Brown University and her MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She completed a residency in pediatrics at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is dual board certified in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She previously served as an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, as an attending physician at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and as an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale University. She is currently an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department and the medical director of the pediatric sexual assault forensic examiner program at a prominent children's hospital in Connecticut. She is also an associate professor of pediatric emergency medicine at an Ivy League university.
