This highly-qualified expert is a triple board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician with an expertise in pediatric anesthesiology and pediatric acute and chronic pain. She earned her BS in biology and psychology from Loyola University before earning her MD from Rush Medical College. She subsequently completed a pediatrics internship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, an anesthesiology residency and a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Washington University at St. Louis, and a pain medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School. This expert is board certified in anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, and pain medicine. She is active in her field as a member of several organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine. She formerly served as a cancer research technical assistant for the Laboratory of Population Genetics at the National Cancer Institute and as an assistant professor in the department of anesthesiology, perioperative, and pain medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Currently, this expert is the director of chronic pain at a university-affiliated hospital in Washington, DC.
