He has a vast body of grant-funded research and publication experience in the field of surgical pathology with expertise in thoracic pathology (lung, pleura and mediastinum), endocrine pathology (thyroid) and soft tissue tumors. He has served in such high ranking departmental positions as Director of Anatomic and Surgical Pathology for the Ohio State University Hospitals and is currently a Chairman of Pathology at a major medical school in the USA.
