This licensed registered nurse has been in his field for over 27 years. He earned his AS in nursing from Virginia Appalachian College and is a certified legal nurse consultant. He is also certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. He began his career as an emergency room nurse for Buchanan General Hospital before transitioning to working in the operating room as a circulating nurse and then a nurse manager. He then went on to serve as an orthopedic nurse coordinator for 17 years and as a risk specialist both at South Lake Hospital. This expert currently works as a quality and risk manager at a physician group in Virginia.
