Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified expert completed her BS from Syracuse University and earned her DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. She completed a Residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Mt Sinai Medical Center. This expert is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a member of prestigious associations such as the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Education Association and the American Dental Association, She received the Hands to Heart Award from the Department of Veteran Affairs. This expert has published 11 peer-reviewed journal articles, 15 abstract posters and has contributed in 1 book chapter. She is the co-editor for a new textbook on temporomandibular joint disorders, with anticipated date of completion of Winter 2017. She is the former Section Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and she is the current Dental Service Chief at a major medical center. She also serves as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at a private surgical practice. Her major areas of clinical and research expertise are temporomandibular joint disorders and mandibular reconstruction.
