Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning a BSN, a MS from the women's health care nurse practitioner program, and a PhD in nursing. She is a certified nurse-midwife, licensed as both an RN and an APRN, and active in her field as a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Illinois Society of Advance Practice Nursing. She formerly served as a clinical nurse for the maternal-child float pool at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center and a clinical nurse in the labor and delivery unit at Loyola University Medical Center, as well as a clinical instructor of nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
