Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified nursing expert has over 25 years of experience in the field. She earned her BSN from Lake Superior State University and her MSN in management and leadership from Walden University. She is a certified professional in patient safety and is active in her field as a member of several organizations, including the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses Association. She spent a majority of her career with War Memorial Hospital, serving as a registered nurse, the interim director of obstetrics and women's health, and the director of nursing for the medical-surgical unit. Additionally, she served as the lead dialysis RN for Northern Michigan Dialysis, the home and health hospice RN case manager for the Chippewa County Home Health Department, and the summer health care camp coordinator for Lake Superior State University. This expert is currently the principal for a consulting firm and an assistant professor of nursing at a university, both based in Michigan.
