Expert Qualifications

This expert is an experienced RN specializing in perinatal care and neonatal intensive care. She completed her BSN at San Francisco State University and her MSN at Western Governors University. She is certified in neonatal intensive care and is a licensed RN. She is active in the field as a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses and the Association of Women Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing. She previously was a nurse in NICU’s at Rush University, Kaiser, UCSF Benioff Children’s, and OHSU’s Doernbecher Neonatal Care Unit. She has experience as a bedside nurse, a charge nurse, and a resuscitation and triage nurse attending to newborn resuscitations and codes. She has also worked in a neuro-intensive care nursery that primarily focused on infants suffering from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. This expert currently works as a professional development consultant at a medical center, as a nurse educator at a perinatal treatment group, and as an adjunct professor at a university in Oregon.
