He proceeded on to Mount Sinai School of Medicine for his MD and then entered his postgraduate training as an intern in Internal Medicine. Thereafter he began his residency in Neurology. During his fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology he also trained in the Human Investigators program at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He became a clinical instructor in Neurology after his training was complete while serving as a staff Neurologist at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. He currently is the Chief of the Multiple Sclerosis Division at a major university hospital in the northeast where he is also an Assistant Professor of Neurology.
