Expert Qualifications

This qualified expert is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He received his BS in biology and his MD from the University of Alabama before completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee. He subsequently completed two fellowships at the University of North Carolina: one in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and the other in epidemiology and clinical trials. He actively participates in continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest practices in gynecology. This expert is active in his field as a member of several associations, including the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, the International Papillomavirus Society, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He is also highly involved in research, having authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and spoken at numerous conferences. His former positions include clinical instructor at the University of North Carolina and Rex Hospital, as well as locums tenens physician at Kinston Community Health Center. Currently, this expert serves as an assistant professor of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at a distinguished medical school in Ohio.
