Expert Qualifications

This qualified expert has 8 years of experience in medical toxicology. He received his BS in microbiology from the University of California San Diego before pursuing his MPH at the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health. He then earned his MD from the University of Toledo. Following medical school, he completed an internal medicine internship and an emergency medicine residency at George Washington University. He then subsequently completed a fellowship in medical toxicology at the University of California San Francisco. This expert is board-certified in emergency medicine, subspecializing in medical toxicology. He is active in his field as a member of the American College of Medical Toxicologists and the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also involved in research, having authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and presented several posters. His former positions include emergency medicine physician at Eden Medical Center and assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of California San Francisco. Currently, this expert serves as an assistant professor of clinical pharmacology at a major California medical school, the assistant medical director for the state poison control system, and an emergency medicine physician for a California medical center.
