Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified engineering expert has over three decades of experience in his field. He earned a BS in civil engineering from National Technology University. He went on to earn an MS in civil engineering, an MS in aeronautics and astronautics, and a PhD in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is active is in field as the author of numerous engineering publications and the founder and director of several engineering laboratories focusing on surface mechanics. Formerly, he served as a professor of mechanical and industrial engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Currently, this expert is a principal investigator at a technological research institute, a faculty materials scientist at a DOE-affiliated research laboratory, and a professor of mechanical engineering at a distinguished university in California.
