Expert Qualifications

This qualified expert has nearly 25 years of experience in nursing. She earned her AS in applied science from Luzerne County Community College and completed a 120-hour nursing home administrator's course at Penn State University. She is licensed as a registered nurse and a nursing home administrator. She has been a registered nurse for several different units at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, including orthopedics, ER/ICU, and subacute and medical-surgical care. She was also a critical care nurse for Saint Catherine's Medical Center and a nurse supervisor for Genesis Healthcare. For the past 7 years, this expert has served as a nursing services director for several healthcare facilities such as Spang Crest, Golden Living Center, and Genesis Health Care. Currently, she serves as the director of nursing services and center nurse executive for a healthcare center in Pennsylvania.
