This expert served 32 years with the San Francisco Police Department in a variety of different capacities. He began his experience as a police officer for nine years in patrol, and then went on to serve as a Sergeant and Inspector in the Investigations Bureau for over four years investigating Violent Crimes, Auto Theft, Burglary and Domestic Violence. He went on to serve as a Commander in the Patrol Bureau, Investigations Bureau, and over the Tactical Company and Homeland Security Unites. In his final role with the San Francisco Police Department, he served as Deputy Chief and was responsible for oversight of the 1700 member patrol force. Since retiring from the Police Department in 2013, this expert has been serving as a Lecturer in Criminal Justice Studies at a University in California.
