Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified expert holds three board certifications and specializes in interventional cardiology. She received her BS in biochemistry and molecular biology from Chestnut Hill College before going on to earn both her PhD in cardiovascular biology and her MD from Drexel University. She also received her MCR from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital. She then completed two fellowships at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania: one in general cardiology and the other in interventional cardiology. This expert is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology. She is active in her field as a member of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. She is also highly involved in research, having authored numerous articles and abstracts on cardiology. Currently, this expert serves as the associate director of structural and valvular heart disease, the co-director and co-founder of the maternal fetal medicine-cardiology joint program, and the program director for the interventional cardiology fellowship at a major medical school in New York.
