Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has nearly 35 years of experience as an internal medicine and hospital medicine physician. He received his AB in human biology from Stanford University before graduating cum laude and earning his MD from the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. He subsequently completed residencies in family practice and internal medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Additionally, he earned his MBA from the University of Massachusetts and completed Harvard Business School's Executive Education program. This expert is board certified in internal medicine and is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is active in his field as a member of several organizations, including the American Association of Physician Leadership and the Society of Hospital Medicine. He is also involved in research, having authored several scientific journal articles and books. This expert has held a number of distinguished roles, including chief of the internal medicine clinic at Moncrief Army Hospital, the founding partner and medical director of Inpatient Medical Associates of Columbia, and the chief physician and clinical integration officer for Palmetto Health. Currently, this expert serves as an assistant professor of medicine at a major medical school in Georgia, as well as a clinical associate professor of medicine at a South Carolina medical school.
