Expert Qualifications

This expert is board certified in internal medicine. She earned her BA in biology and her graduate certificate in biotechnology from Binghamton University followed by her MD from St. Matthews University School of Medicine in the Gand Cayman Islands. She then completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at New York University. She began her career as a physician leader for the Medicaid accelerated exchange program at the New York State Department of Health, where she implemented the integration of behavioral health into primary care with the goal of reducing hospital admissions. She is currently a physician leader for an advanced care program that facilitates planning between inpatient and outpatient care. She is also a primary care physician and an instructor at a university-affiliated health center in New York.
