Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has almost 30 years of experience in infectious diseases. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a BS in chemistry, where he also earned his MD. He subsequently completed an internal internship and residency, as well as a fellowship in infectious diseases, at North Shore University Hospital. This expert is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases, and holds a certification in age management medicine. He is active in his field as a member of several professional organizations, including the College of American Pathologists and the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He has been an attending physician at hospitals in New York, Virginia, and Alabama, and formerly served as the medical director of the Mid South Home Health Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy, the medical education advisor of HIV Services for the INOVA Health System, and the chairman of medicine at Huntsville Hospital System. Currently, this expert is a clinical associate professor of medicine at an Alabama medical school, the associate medical director of a hospital in Alabama, and the medical director and chief medical officer of a biotechnology company.
