Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has over 20 years of experience as an economist, with much of his work centered around health economics, hospital reimbursement policies, antitrust economics, and damages. He received his BS in economics from California State Polytechnic University before earning his PhD in economics from the University of California Santa Barbara. This expert is active in his field as a member of the American Economic Association and is highly involved in research, having served as a principal investigator on several studies and authored multiple economic publications. He is also a referee for the Journal of the Economics of Business. He has formerly served as an adjunct assistant professor for the MPH for Health and Allied Professionals Program at UCLA, a consultant for Roulac & Company, a senior consultant for Deloitte Haskins & Sells, the project director for Part 1 of the Health Care Options Project at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, an adjunct assistant professor of economics at the University of California Santa Barbara, and a research fellow at the Milken Institute. Currently, this expert serves as the principal and senior economist for a private economic consulting firm in California.
