Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has over 35 years of experience as a geologist, having earned his BA in geology from Franklin and Marsh College and his MA from the University of Texas. He is certified as a professional geologist by the American Institute of Professional Geologists and is licensed in 5 states. This expert is also certified as a hydrogeologist, a petroleum geologist, and a California qualified stormwater pollution prevention plan developer and preparer. He holds a commercial driver's license with hazmat endorsement and is licensed by CSLB in drilling, general engineering, hazardous materials removal, and asbestos abatement. He is active in his field as a member of several associations, including the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the American Institute of Professional Geologists. He is also highly involved in research, having authored numerous publications. He has formerly served as a technician for the U.S. Bureau of Mines, an exploration oil geologist for SOHIO Petroleum, a senior oil geologist for Petrofina Delaware, and a project geologist for Harding & Lawson Associates. Currently, this expert is a geologist for an environmental science company and the principal geologist for an environmental and geologic consulting firm in California.
