Expert Qualifications

This expert received his MD from the University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. He went on to complete his residency in integrated surgery from the University of Connecticut and his fellowship in surgical critical care from the University of Florida. He is fluent in both Arabic and English, and he is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Previously, this expert served as a trauma surgeon and surgical intensivist at Grand Strand Surgical Specialists in South Carolina. He currently works as a trauma surgeon and surgical intensivist as well as an assistant professor of surgery at a medical school and their affiliated medical center in PA.
