Expert Qualifications

This expert has 35 years of experience in the field of general surgery and organ transplantation. He earned his BA from Dartmouth College and his MD from the University of Kansas. He completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston and a fellowship in transplantation at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is a member of the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Western Surgical Association. He previously served as a general and transplant surgeon at a private practice, as a surgeon in the departments of trauma and transplantation at St. Luke's Health System, and as the medical director of Midwest Transplant Network. He is currently a clinical professor of surgery at a university in Nevada and a general surgeon at two hospitals.
