General and Colorectal Surgery Expert Witness

Expert Qualifications

This expert has over 10 years of experience as a colorectal surgeon. He completed his BS in biology from Louisiana Tech University and his MD from LSU Health Sciences Center. After completing his residency at LSU Health Sciences Center, this expert went on to finish a prestigious fellowship in colorectal surgery at Baylor University Medical Center. He is board certified in general surgery and colorectal surgery. This expert is a member of numerous professional societies and organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, and the College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. He has published over 20 articles and given over 40 presentations related to topics in his field. Additionally, this expert has been the recipient of various awards for his work as a surgeon and distinguished professor. Formerly, he has held roles as an assistant professor of surgery and the assistant director of surgery clerkship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Currently, this expert serves as an associate professor of surgery, and the director of surgery clerkship at a major AR medical school.
