Expert Qualifications

This expert holds a bachelor degree in Environmental Design and a masters in Architecture from the University of Colorado, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. As a forensic architect, he performs standard of care analysis in design and construction projects, with special emphasis on multi-family residential projects; performs cause and origin analysis of building system installations and failures, including roofing systems, window and door systems, exterior wall cladding systems, waterproofing, and foundation systems, with a specialization in fire-resistive assemblies and active fire-protection systems; performs premises liability analysis including slip/trip and fall, and maintenance procedure analysis, with an emphasis on accessibility code compliance; and performs damage assessments on existing facilities related to storms, accidents, fire, and natural disasters.
