This expert spent more than four decades with the New York City Fire Department, serving as a Battalion Chief for more than half of his career. He served as the Chief in Charge of Curriculum and Officer Development at the New York Fire Department Training Academy on Randall's Island, and is a regular speaker at the Fire Department Instructors Conference. He has authored numerous articles in firefighting publications and published a book on emergency response, which became the basis of a course at John Jay College.
