Family Medicine Expert Witness

Expert Qualifications

This expert completed all of her academic training at Dalhousie University, earning both her BS in biology and her MD from the university, as well as completing her residency in family medicine at the university. She is certified in family medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and as a marine medical examiner for Transport Canada. Additionally, this expert holds a full family practice license without limitations through the Nova Scotia College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is involved in research in her field, having authored several publications. She has formerly served as a family practice physician for Bridgewater at BAFHC and currently serves as a hospital physician for a major hospital system, a family medicine physician at a health center, and an assistant professor of family medicine at a Nova Scotia university.
