This board-certified and fellowship-trained expert has over 20 years of experience as a family medicine physician. Previously elected as a Fellow for the Research Committee in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, she has worked on several active and former research projects focusing on cultural competency of physicians. She previously served in positions for community centers, a correctional facility, and a Planned Parenthood clinic. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health as well as a Medical Staff Physician for a major university medical center.
