He earned a BA from Indiana University in Geology and is certified by the American Institute of Professional Geologists, and has been certified by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency as an environmental professional. He has completed extensive training and research in the areas of geology and geochemistry. This expert is extensively published in the field, specializing in soil's reactions to hydrocarbons, petroleum, and various gases. He formerly served as a geologist at numerous oil and fuel companies, owned his own petroleum exploration company, and invented a line of safe and environmentally responsible garden products including repellents and insecticides. Currently, this expert is the founder and president of an environmental consulting firm.
