This associate professor was recruited to his current institution in Upstate New York to establish a program in Endocrine Surgery. His practice is restricted to the management of patients with benign and cancerous conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands; he performs hundreds of thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal operations per year. After his residency in General Surgery, he pursued further subspecialty training during a premier Endocrine Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), with Dr Orlo Clark, one of the giants in the field. He received his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his MD from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn.
