Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified board certified expert earned her BA from University of Maryland and her MD from Ben Gurion Medical School for International Health in collaboration with Columbia University. She then completed her residency in emergency medicine and pediatrics at Indiana University. This expert is board certified in both pediatrics and emergency medicine and certified in advanced cardiac, pediatric, advanced trauma, and basic life support. She is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American College of Emergency Physicians. She has published multiple times in American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Formerly, she served as the pediatric emergency medicine curriculum director at Carolinas Medical Center and an assistant professor of emergency and pediatric emergency medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. Currently, she is an adjunct professor of wilderness medicine at a leading Colorado medical school and as a pediatric emergency physician at a Colorado multi-specialty physician group.
