Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has had over 30 years of experience in the field of elevator and escalator maintenance, mechanics, and safety. He received his BA in business from Strayer University and is a certified qualified elevator inspector and elevator technician. He is active in his field as a member of the National and International Association of Elevator Consultants and the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities. He formerly served as an elevator mechanic at Atlantic Elevator as well as an elevator and escalator mechanic and maintenance supervisor for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). He also formerly served as a quality assurance officer at WMATA, a service superintendent at ThyssenKrupp and Schindler Elevator Corporation and an elevator manager at the University of Maryland. He is currently a managing member of a vertical transportation consulting firm located in Virginia.
