He received his B.A. in Electrical Engineering at Georgia Tech and his M.A. in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. He is a patent holder in cache memory design, has published 50+ articles in the field, and is the creator of two independent blogs that frequently cover both memory and SSD technologies. He has strong ties with all major memory chip makers (Samsung, Micron, SK hynix, SanDisk, Toshiba, Intel, Macronix, Spansion, etc) other members of the memory ecosystem (Kingston, PNY, Applied Materials, etc.) and SSD makers and users (IBM, Western Digital, Seagate, Kingston, etc.) This expert has 32 years professional experience and deep technical knowledge in the semiconductor space. He has worked at Intel Corporation, National Semiconductor, Siemens, Integrated Device Technology, and other leading firms. As Director and Chief Analyst at Dataquest, he was responsible for all memory forecasts, models, and analysis. As Senior Director of Corporate marketing at a major technology firm, he implemented marketing programs to sell SST’s flash memories. As Director of a flash memory research firm., he developed key analysis of memory markets and led the analysts team's research efforts in chip and application markets. Currently, he is the President of a semiconductor market research firm, where he is the leading analyst for the semiconductor memory and SSD markets.
