This highly-qualified epidemiologist has extensive experience in the realm of drug safety. He received his BS from the University of British Columbia before earning his Pharm.D in clinical pharmacology from Idaho State University and his MS in clinical epidemiology from the University of Toronto. He subsequently completed a fellowship in pharmacoepidemiology at McGill University, serving as a postdoctoral fellow at the Baycrest Center for Geriatric Care and the Royal Victoria Hospital. He is active in his field as a member of the Canadian Society of Gastroenterology and the International Society for Pharmacology. He is also highly involved in research, making significant contributions to drug safety by quantifying rare drug adverse events with popular prescription drugs over the last 10 years. He has formerly served as a research associate in the Center for Clinical Epidemiology at Vancouver General Hospital, as well as an assistant professor of respiratory medicine and an assistant professor of pediatrics and translational therapeutics at the University of British Columbia. Currently, this expert serves as an assistant professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences, as well as an associate member of pharmacology and therapeutics at a top university in British Columbia.
