This expert has 30 years of experience in computer engineering with a specialization in digital signal processing and speech. He has demonstrated experience with telecommunications, cellular networks, speech and audio compression standards (codecs), video codecs, computer software and hardware, packetized networks, VoIP, streaming audio and video, smartphones, location methods, human interface, realtime systems, speech recognition, and web systems and applications. He received his BSc in electrical and computer engineering from Ben Gurion University and his MSc in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel University. He then completed his PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara. He is active in his field with several publications and as a member of IEEE. He holds several international patents and has won the Ericsson-Nokia Best Paper Award. He is fluent in a number of programming languages. Throughout his career, he has held several DSP roles including serving as a DSP consultant at AT&T Bell Labs and as an audio group manager at Optibase - VCON. Currently, he is the founder of a DSP and R&D implementation startup in California.
