Expert Qualifications

This highly qualified expert has extensive experience in the field of nursing. She graduated with distinction with her BSN from the University of Victoria before earning her MSN at Athabasca University. She also received a dual certification in critical care and emergency nursing from British Columbia Institute of Technology and her post-master's nurse practitioner graduate diploma from Athabasca University. This expert is a registered nurse in British Columbia and is certified in critical care nursing, emergency nursing, and advanced cardiac life support. She is active in her field as a member of several organizations, including both the American and Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses and the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. She is also involved in research, having authored several publications and given multiple presentations on critical care nursing. She has formerly held a number of roles at Surrey Memorial Hospital, including registered nurse in the ICU and ER, ICU patient care coordinator, and ICU clinical nurse educator. Currently, this expert serves as an adjunct professor of nursing at a nursing school, a part-time distance faculty member at a technical institute, and a critical care nurse practitioner at a hospital system in British Columbia.
