This highly qualified, board certified colon and rectal surgeon has extensive experience in her field. She completed her BS in microbiology from the University of Florida and her MD from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She completed her residency in general surgery from at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and was fellowship-trained in colon and rectal surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She holds board certifications from the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. This expert is a member of various professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
