Expert Qualifications

This expert is certified in both general surgery and colon and rectal surgery. She graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in biology before earning her MD from George Washington University. She subsequently completed an internship and residency in general surgery, as well as a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Massachusetts. This expert is active in her field as a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. She is also involved in research, having authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented at multiple conferences throughout her career. She has formerly served as a general and colorectal surgeon for The Great South Bay Surgical Associates and Vascular Lab. Currently, this expert is a colorectal surgeon and associate partner of a private medical group in New York, as well as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at a New York university.
