Expert Qualifications

This expert started his medical training at New Jersey Medical School in Newark where he earned his Medical Degree in 1999. He completed his residency in General Surgery at UMDNJ - University Hospital, during which he participated in a year-long research fellowship resulting in multiple publications and presentations at national and international meetings. He was also voted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Pursuing a career in Colon and Rectal Surgery, he joined the fellowship program at North Shore-LIJ Health System based in Great Neck, NY where he received extensive training under the tutelage of prominent leaders in the treatment of colon and rectal diseases. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He opened his private surgical practice in 2007.
