Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified expert has 25 years of experience as a psychologist, specializing in child and family psychology issues such as child maltreatment, sexual abuse, trauma,a nd the evaluation and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental, cognitive, behavioral, and mood disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She earned her BS, MS, and PhD in psychology from Florida Institute of Technology, and spent one year completing postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology with Dr. Kaye Burrows. She also completed a psychology internship at the Counseling Center for Human Development and a residency in neurobehavior at the Colorado Center for Neurological Rehabilitation. This expert is a licensed psychologist and is certified as a victim services practitioner. She is active in her field as a member of the Florida Psychological Association and the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children. She is also highly involved in research, as the principal investigator of two ongoing studies and as the author of several publications. She has served as a licensed psychologist at a variety of mental health clinics and has held distinguished roles at these clinics, including serving as the director of the Charter Brandon Counseling Center. Currently, this expert is the director of the family learning program at an autism treatment center in Florida. She has also owned and operated her own private psychology practice for the past 14 years.
