This expert specializes in cardiology and internal medicine. She earned her BA in economics from Harvard College and her MD from New York University. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical Center before completing a fellowship in healthcare policy at the US Department of Health and Human Services. She then proceeded to complete a fellowship in cardiology and a fellowship in heart failure at Columbia University Medical Center. This expert is board certified in internal medicine, with subspecialties in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. She is heavily involved in research, having authored several peer-reviewed scientific articles, presented posters at cardiology conferences, and been an invited speaker for numerous conferences. She was formerly an instructor of medicine at NYU.
