This highly qualified, board certified, published expert earned his bachelor's degree from the James Madison University in Virginia, his bachelor of nursing science from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from the Eastern Virginia Medical School. This was followed by a Residency in Anesthesiology at the Virginia Commonwealth University. This expert then completed his formal medical education by doing 2 fellowships: one in Critical Care Anesthesiology at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the other in Adult Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at the Auckland City Hospital, NZ. This expert is a member of numerous medical societies and is published having authored 3 peer-reviewed journal articles. This expert previously served as Attending Anesthesiologist and clinical instructor at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, as Attending Anesthesiologist at Fair Oaks Anesthesia Associates and as Assistant Professor Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Eastern Colorado Health System Veterans Health Administration and the University of Colorado Hospital where he was co-director of ECMO.
