This highly qualified expert has over 15 years of experience in nursing. She earned her AS in nursing from Shelton State Community College before earning her BSN from University of North Alabama. She actively participates in professional development to stay up to date on the latest practices in nursing. This expert is certified in ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. She is licensed in practical nursing and is a registered nurse. She worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Northport Medical Center for three and a half years before becoming the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) RN care manager for the primary care clinic at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center. She has also served as a staff registered nurse and the medical officer of the day nurse for the specialty clinic at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center. Currently, this expert serves as the nurse manager for specialty care clinics at a VA medical center in Alabama.
