Expert Qualifications

This qualified expert has over 30 years of experience in nursing and 15 years as a nurse practitioner. She earned her BSN from the University of Vermont and her MSN from Simmons College. Today, this expert is certified as a critical care registered nurse and as an adult nurse practitioner. She stays active in her field as the author of several publications and as a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She formerly held roles as a hospitalist nurse practitioner, the clinical manager of the hospitalist program, and the director of advanced practice providers in the CardioVascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Additionally, she was both an adjunct instructor and a clinical instructor of nursing at Simmons College. This expert is currently a nurse practitioner in the cardiac department at an academic medical center in Massachusetts.
