Expert Qualifications

This highly-qualified addiction medicine expert earned his BS in biology from Lycoming College, his DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and his MPH in healthcare policy and administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. He continued to complete an internship in family medicine at the Chino Valley Medical Center, a residency in family medicine at the St. Luke's Health System, and a fellowship in addiction medicine at Geisinger Health System. This expert is board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine and remains active in his field as a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership, the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine. Formerly, this expert has served as an assistant clinical instructor at the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, an adjunct clinical professor at the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine and as a preceptor at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has additional experience as a staff physician at Forrest General Hospital, the medical director at the Virginia Premier Health Plan, Inc., a private practice physician affiliated with the Indiana Health Group, as a physician advisor through the Network Medical Review Company and as the Chief Medical Offer at Fairbanks Hospital. Currently, this expert serves as the regional medical director at a substance abuse treatment clinic in Indiana.
