He began his career in campus safety at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville after an on-campus murder. He created the first national program focused exclusively on providing assistance to the victims of campus violence, with a primary focus on sexual violence. This program assisted victims in pursuing their rights on campus under the Clery Act and Title IX. Most recently, He served as the Director of the VTV Family Outreach Foundation's 32 National Campus Safety Initiative (32 NCSI). In 2008, he was recognized on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives as the leading person in this Nation in advocating more action and tougher action against crimes that are committed on campus. Through his work, he has helped to develop, draft, and secure passage of regulations for seven major pieces of federal legislation, including the Clery Act and the Campus SaVE Act. Additionally, he has trained thousands of campus officials on the Clery Act training and is widely recognized as a public speaker on campus safety issues in the national media, such as CBS Evening News, MSNBC, NPR, and Time Magazine.

This visual merchandising professional recently served as the Vice President of Visual Merchandising & Store Design for all Carter's and OshKosh B'gosh stores. He held this role from 2007 until 2016 and was responsible for the design and visual merchandising in 400 new stores. He also developed and trained field leaders in store merchandising standards. Previously, the expert served as an Associate Vice President of Visual Merchandising for Victoria's Secret and as the Director of Visual Merchandising at Limited Too. In total, he has 20 years of retail design experience. The expert is currently consulting independently on retail store design.

This Tennessee based expert entered the waste management industry in 1988, joining the old Browning-Ferris Industries as a District Manager of Environmental, Safety and Health for the Nashville District, covering 22,500 square miles. He was responsible for hiring, training, risk management, claims and compliance with OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations. He later became the Director of Solid Waste for the city of Franklin, TN, where he oversaw the conception and completion of a Municipal Services Complex that included a new 500-ton per day transfer station and 20,000 square foot operations center. He has been a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America for almost twenty years, and is certified to teach in Collections, Transfer Station, Recycling, Integrated Solid Waste Management and Principals of Solid Waste Management. He has written or edited numerous textbooks for the organization.

This certified safety professional (CSP) and authorized OSHA outreach trainer has been in the occupational safety field for more than a decade. A member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance and MBA from the University of Georgia.

This qualified expert received his BA from Valparaiso University and is a licensed OSHA trainer for numerous courses. He has managed various construction safety projects including the installation and modification of industrial equipment valued at over a billion dollars.
