This board certified plastic surgeon and medical examiner has over 40 years of experience in a variety of prestigious clinical and academic roles. He has held an associate professorship and a directorship of the plastic surgery residency program at Wright State University School of Medicine, and an assistant professorship at the University of Kentucky. Clinically, he was an attending surgeon at the Lexington VAMC, associate staff physician at Cardinal Hill Hospital, and staff plastic surgeon at the Kentucky Crippled Children's Service. He is currently a clinical professor of surgery and emergency medicine at a major university medical center where he has authored many peer reviewed journal articles, chapters, and abstracts on the topic of plastic surgery.

After completing his pediatrics residency at The Children's Memorial Hospital he went on to train under a prestigious fellowship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. In addition, he also holds a masters in epidemiology and biostatistics from University of Cincinnati. He is board certified in pediatrics and is active in his field as a member of numerous societies including The Society for Pediatric Research and The Ambulatory Pediatric Association. In addition, he has published over 15 journal articles and delivered over 25 invited lectures and presentations. He has served as a practicing pediatrician in numerous hospitals and gained almost 20 years of clinical experience in his field. Currently, he is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at a top tier medical school and is also a practicing physician at a regional medical center.
