This expert is a qualified Forensic Examiner by the FBI Laboratory Training, and has been working in the field for more than 10 years. He is the first vice president of the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and has authored several publications focusing on forensic firearm/toolmark identification and gunshot residue testing. He is a former Forensic Firearm and Tool Mark Examiner for the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Laboratory Manager for the Michigan State Police Northville Laboratory, and is currently the president and owner of a private forensic consulting group.

This firearms and archery enthusiast and instructor has been involved in the field for over 41 years. He completed numerous training's with the U.S. Army, Armstrong State College and the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council. The expert has completed numerous firearms and archery-related courses and instructor courses over the years; currently, he teaches Firearms and Archery Safety for the Department of Environmental Conservation with the State of New York and for the Wildlife Resources Commission for the State of North Carolina. The expert is a Certified Instructor in Firearms Training and a Range Safety Officer through the National Rifle Association and the TAP3X Group of Companies, and he has published 30+ works on archery and firearm shooting. He now runs a firearm and archery training and consulting business.

Area of greatest expertise: The defensive use of a handgun, the legal repercussions one might expect to encounter when choosing to carry a pistol, and actually using the pistol to defend themselves.

This expert served 32 years with the San Francisco Police Department in a variety of different capacities. He began his experience as a police officer for nine years in patrol, and then went on to serve as a Sergeant and Inspector in the Investigations Bureau for over four years investigating Violent Crimes, Auto Theft, Burglary and Domestic Violence. He went on to serve as a Commander in the Patrol Bureau, Investigations Bureau, and over the Tactical Company and Homeland Security Unites. In his final role with the San Francisco Police Department, he served as Deputy Chief and was responsible for oversight of the 1700 member patrol force. Since retiring from the Police Department in 2013, this expert has been serving as a Lecturer in Criminal Justice Studies at a University in California.

This highly-qualified expert has over 30 years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer, with a particular focus in use of force, self-defense, and weapons law. He earned both his BA in psychology and his JD from St. Louis University. He has completed several training sessions through the Ultimate Defense Firing Range and Training Center related to firearms and use of force and is a second degree black belt in tae kwon do. He is licensed to practice in 7 states and holds certifications in personal protection inside and outside the home and basic pistol, rifle, and shotgun through the National Rifle Association. This expert is also a federal firearms licensee. Currently, he serves as the founder and principal of a safety consulting firm and the managing partner and a founder of a law firm in Missouri.

This highly-qualified expert has over 16 years of professional experience in multiple assignments in law enforcement, with demonstrated experience in use of force, training, and policies and procedures. He earned his BS in national security studies from New Jersey City University and later earned his JD from Rutgers Law School. He holds several certifications including public manager, use of force analysis, critical infrastructure protection, hostage negotiator, critical incident training instructor, firearms instructor, and advanced law enforcement rapid response training. Formerly, this expert served as a corrections officer and sheriff's officer for the Morris County Sheriff's Office. He also was a sergeant of marines in the United States Marine Corps before becoming a team leader for the Hudson County Regional SWAT Team/Crisis Negotiation Team. Currently, this expert is a police sergeant at a city police department in New Jersey.

This highly qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in forensic science specializing in firearms and ballistics, fingerprints, toolmarks, shooting scene reconstruction, indented writing restoration, and drug chemistry. He earned his BA in chemistry at Saint Anselm College and holds several certifications including latent print examiner, firearm examiner, tool mark examiner, and gunshot residue/distance determination examiner. He is very active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the Association of Firearm and Tool Mark Examiners, the International Association for Identification, and the Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientists. In addition, this expert has published 2 abstracts and has given over 10 presentations. Formerly, this expert served as a quality control chemist at Dexter Electronic Materials before holding multiple positions at the New Hampshire State Police Forensic Laboratory including a fingerprint technician, criminalist I, criminalist II, and criminalist III. This expert is currently the co-owner at supervising scientist at a forensic consultancy in New Hampshire.
