With a wealth of experience and knowledge in the pedestrian and bicycle fields, This expert has created and taught pedestrian and bicycle safety and education courses for adults, children, law enforcement officers, judges, attorneys, planners, engineers and maintenance personnel. He has developed community pedestrian/bicycle plans, written resource guides, trained police bike patrols, directed special events, lead bicycle tours and consulted on a wide variety of related topics. He earned a BA from Indiana University in Geology and is certified by the American Institute of Professional Geologists, and has been certified by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency as an environmental professional. He has completed extensive training and research in the areas of geology and geochemistry. This expert is extensively published in the field, specializing in soil's reactions to hydrocarbons, petroleum, and various gases. He formerly served as a geologist at numerous oil and fuel companies, owned his own petroleum exploration company, and invented a line of safe and environmentally responsible garden products including repellents and insecticides. Currently, this expert is the founder and president of an environmental consulting firm.

This highly qualified expert has more than 30 years of experience in the field of industrial hygiene. He earned his BA in chemistry from Macalester College before earning an MS in food science, an MPH in environmental health, and a PhD in environmental health all at the University of Minnesota. He is a certified industrial hygienist in comprehensive practice and chemical aspects. He formerly served as hazardous waste manager at the University of Minnesota and as a research associate - analytical laboratory supervisor at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He then went on to work as a staff scientist at Hazleton Laboratories of America, as director of industrial hygiene at Northland Environmental Services, and finally as a professor of industrial hygiene and environmental chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He currently serves as a senior consultant in industrial hygiene at a consultancy in WI.
